Serious question about defending players such as Winston.

Maybe i've picked up on this because FSUManager is the only FSU fan here but it bothers me how much he defends Jameis's actions with his FSU Crimson Rose Glasses I get it though, its 'your' team. So there is a feeling of 'obligation' in a sense to defend your team and it's players. However if he were the QB of my team, i'd be embarrassed and wouldn't care how good of a FB player he was. I'd want him gone/dismissed from my program. What are other peoples opinions?

I've been looking through FSU message boards and I must say it seems like a lot of FSU fans are fed up. I've seen as much mocking as defending, which is a sharp contrast to the reactions after the r*pe allegations.

Did I miss a thread? I haven't seen FSUmanager defend him concerning this issue. I saw another FSU fan that did a little. At this point the 'fuck it' switch has to be going off in even some of their most diehard fans. I suspect Winston better hope like hell Maguire fails miserably Saturday.

I read those threads and he was primarily defending the decisions of the university concerning Winston. He did comment that Winston isn't as tard as he seems in interviews. I disagree with him about both. - I think Winston is a blatant idiot and to protect an athlete they minimized r*pe allegations. - But I haven't seen him defend Winston personally concerning what he did.
