No Detlef, Hersey Hawkins for the bench?

GP
Harden
Durant
Schrempf
Kemp

THAT WOULD BE FIREEEEE.

Then you bring Russ off the bench and play him next to Ray Allen, Dale Ellis, Jack Sikma and Sam Perkins, so he could do his thing and surround him with shooters.

Picking an all time OKC roster is tricky for me. I just can't put a former Sonic on a Thunder roster even though it's the same franchise.

Kemp and Payton were never on the Thunder.

Good effort, but no.
Same franchise.

Only the name and colors stay.

All records, trophies, banners are property of the Thunder.

Unless something has changed?

Bennett retains the rights to the Sonics' name, history and colors but doesn't intend to use them, saying he "will return them to the team if a team returns to Seattle in the term."

Bennett said at a news conference in Oklahoma City that the original team banners and 1979 championship trophy will stay in Seattle, but "we will create duplicate banners and championship trophy that we believe will be assets we want to have."

Clay Bennett Didn't Exactly Give Up that Sonic Legacy

Loved me some Tom Chambers too.

But, mostly from on his Suns days.

Sam Perkins was pretty good off the bench for them too.

For Miami:

PG: Tim Hardaway, Goran Dragic

SF: Lebron James, Glen Rice
PF: Chris Bosh, PJ Brown (Zo if you want to get technical)
C: Alonzo Mourning, Shaq

Wizards

PG: Earl Monroe, John Wall, Gilbert Arenas
SG: Michael Jordan, Rip Hamilton, Jeff Malone
SF: Bernard King, Juwon Howard
PF: Chris Webber, Rasheed Wallace, Wes Unseld
C: Moses Malone, Elvin Hayes, Walt Bellamy

Some pretty great players here. If you assume peak production, this group could hang with anybody outside Lakerland.

Dude, I could hammer one out for you easily....

Marbury, Butler, Garnett, Kat, Kevin Love

Rubio, Sam Cassell, Gugliotta, Jr Rider, Sprewell

Brandon Roy was so good until his body gave out.

Honorable mention Malik Sealy....

Holy Shit I forgot about Marbury. Bump cassell and move Brandon to the bench. I love Rubio, but he has the misfortune of playing at one of the 2 spots the wolves have had good players. I hate KG at SF, but it seems a shame to not have gugliotta on mine, he had some solid years. And KG at SF means I can drop off Szcerbiak

Dude, can you imagine how good Marbury and Garnett could have been had Steph been able to check his ego?

Fucking shame.

I wonder if I am in the minority on preferring Brandon to Cassell. I suppose if we factor in injury history you have to take Cassell, I am just a huge fan of Brandon

That is on the list of what ifs with that team, what if they kept Roy when they drafted him, what if they Drafted Curry instead of Flynn, what if they did not give up 5 1sts to sign Joe Smith illegally are the 3 others that kill me at night.

The biggest one, what if Sam Cassell does not hurt his back on their last playoff run. I still think the Wolves beat the Lakers if they don't drop to Troy Hudson as the PG. If they win that series the Wolves have a championship.

You can make a case for Terrell Brandon and Brandon Roy over Sam.

I picked Sam because of his Finals run as a Rookie, his Clippers affiliation and his big balls dance is the best Shit ever.....lol

Technically yes, but logically no!

Those guys never played for a team called the "Thunder". We don't even know if they've ever even been to OKC. To claim the accomplishments of those players just doesn't sound right, and they would probably agree with that.

Considering how bad the Knicks have been in my lifetime I'll just go with the 1972 Team and sub Patrick at Center. Throw in Bernard King as the 6th man

I get it.

But, disagree..

That's like saying Chris Paul didn't play for the Pelicans....

He has no affiliation to the Team in Charlotte.
