I will say Hakeem and Kareem are the top centers of all-time IMO. I can't put one over the other

I think both these teams have a problem with their matchups, hard to tell which one is more or less valuable though

Both Hakeem and Garnett are great defensive players but both are a mismatch on shaq who has 70 pounds on both of them...

I think there is a misconception that elite defense can STOP elite offense... it cant... it can only contain it... and that is if it does its best... Containing my elite offense is still more than your baby offense can do...

I don't think you understand the mismatch you're facing there... he takes people off the dribble, he shoots fade sways his footwork is crazy... you're brushing off that neither of your bigs can guard my bigs in space and the team I have you can't help...

No, I have conceded that you have the better defense... But you also have the FAR inferior offense... my defense is good enough to contain THAT offense more than your defense can stop mine...

Which he averaged over 25 points per game... so it is not like Hakeem did a GREAT job defensively...

He averaged 28 and 12.5 rebs
Hakeem averaged 32 and 11.5 rebs

Difference is Shaq had shooters around him Dennis Scott, Nick Anderson and Horace Grant... he was all alone in the post... here I have 2 guys in the paint both defensive guys and you have 1 shooter...

Wilt is the only guy who gives you a chance... but he can't defend either big in space... it seems like you think your bigs and my bigs do the same thing and it's actually completely different on both sides... you're guys are dump the ball down low and let them beast... but they have no room... Hakeem and KG... these are huge scoring threats... and if a 39% shooting 3pt shooter who is a back 2 back DPOY is a joke I don't see it being that funny... right now today in the NBA he is top 10 period... space and defense is the recipe for championships... Cavs, Spurs, Heat, GS... all used it to win the last like 5/6 championships... it is what it is, but I'm going to question every vote that says you lose because of space... player wise you have the best 5 starters in the draft, playing them together is the real joke...

Steph curry, best 3 point shooter of all time... and Clyde Drexler, easily one of the best SGs of all time... Plus Barkley was known to be a chucker... as that was his nick name... for more than Just because his name was Charles...

Steph is your only "shooter"... Drexler was a slasher, his strength was attacking his defenders not shooting... Barkley was a post player, not a "shooter"... if you're talking mid range game that makes this even more in my favor as 4 of your 5 players would be shooting within the 3pt line 2 of which won't leave the box... of my 3 shooter Pippen is the only one not known as a "shooter" and he shoots 32% which is better than Clyde who shoots 31%...

You have a fair point there but his role is to stretch the defense and play defense... he is the best wing defender in the NBA 2 years running... only 7 wing players in NBA history won the award and only 9 are multiple winners... Kawhi and Moncrief are the only wings to win it multiple times... so for his role yes I do believe he is worthy of an all time spot...
