He's a winner and a leader, knows how to look off a safety, has the build and arm strength, has experience calling his own plays, taking the snap from center, and reading defenses and going through his progressions. How many QBs in this draft can you say that about?

Only him. Goff is impressive but only those things can be said about Carson Wentz.

Better question would be... Who will Clv pick with the first pick in 17.

...which is 180 degrees polar opposite of what everyone is saying about him. Wentz is a prototypical NFL QB right now.

Sorry but you're wrong (again), Rob. :suds:

Well jeez, if "everyone" says so, it must be true. Why bother putting a poll up?

I think Kevin Hogan of Stanford has a lot of those same capabilities, but not at the same physical talent level (and has that long wind-up throwing motion).

Wentz will be a bust in Cleveland. Write that down.

I honestly don't know who else will compete against them for that top pick.

Then that'll be on Cleveland, just like Blake Bortles is squandered in Jacksonville. Put either of those guys in a system and they're superstars.

Bortles had a good year last season.

..and that was after losing his #1 receiver the first day of camp. I'd sure love to see him get out of there.

RG 3 - add I'm going out on a huge limb, but I betting he's the starter for at least the next four seasons in Cleveland! :L

And no I'm not drunk!

The best thing the Cleveland Clowns could do for any CFB player that might get drafted by that 3 ring circus of a franchise is leave for the CFL. 18 consecutive years of doing things wrong. Why would anyone think things will change anytime soon? On the plus side...@ least they have been consistently shitty for nearly 2 decades!

That is the very definition of going out on a limb. You got better odds of hitting the big lottery 3 days in a row. Could you imagine all the 1st overall picks over the next 4 years. Then imagine all them being ruined.
