Almost went with someone else (McCown), but figured they would give RG3 at least the 1st week.

if the guy drafted starts Week One OVER RG3

That would just start the RG3 ERA with a bang!

I can't see them drafting a QB in the first round but this is Cleveland we're talking about, so all bets are off.

I don't know how they could resist Carson Wentz.

I think rg3 will get the 1st 6 games or so and depending on how bad the damage is at that point...the rookie could take over at that point.

Just glancing at the Browns schedule I might have to rethink 4 wins...realizing any given Sunday can put a dent in this, but I'm not seeing much to be hopeful in '16 for the Browns. In DIV...last 2 yrs combined they have 2 wins, you hope it's not you, but say they get 1 again...hm...NYJ, DAL, NYG, SD...maybe they get one of those 4.

Road...BUF, MIA, PHI, WAS,TN...Titans might be the lowest hanging fruit.

4 wins is going to be tough.

Well...I think rg3 was a good signing considering the contract, but most people, including myself view rg3 as a short term option.

Most likely you take your pick @ 2...Wentz or Goff. If you wait until 32 (really 2 1st round picks, that poor sap is getting screwed if he gets 2nd rd money) Cook and that next tier is what you should expect on the board.

I could take Ramsey or Tunsil and go that 2nd tier QB route, but those are the only two players I would consider aside from the QBs at 2.

He's got great raw talent, but has had nothing in the coaching dept that has prepared him for the NFL. Learning to read basic defenses will take time. I voted for RG3. Assuming he's healthy, he has the better camp and gets the start.

I think he's the most ready of the QBs in this draft, but he has a huge jump in level of competition to deal with. The change in speed from 1AA to the NFL is going to take some major adjustment.

Strange how an 1AA kid is the top QB prospect. He's no Air McNair. It wouldn't surprise me if none of the QBs from this draft make it as strong starters in this league. Looks like the weakest class in years.

He's a winner and a leader, knows how to look off a safety, has the build and arm strength, has experience calling his own plays, taking the snap from center, and reading defenses and going through his progressions. How many QBs in this draft can you say that about?

...which is 180 degrees polar opposite of what everyone is saying about him. Wentz is a prototypical NFL QB right now.

Sorry but you're wrong (again), Rob. :suds:

Agreed.....I think Goff is more Kyle Boller than he is Aaron Rodgers

Paxton Lynch I think will be a total tank job

And Wentz is the Wildcard......Do his raw skills overcome the lack of competition?
