Against the Bucs. Maybe against the Steelers. I see the Lions having a more balanced offense. Therefore hitting 300 a game would be somewhere on game 9-11. They stay healthy and they should be top 5 offense. Bush and company average about 116 a game.

Agree great post. Went w Bears week 10. Something about those games leading up to it Packers, Bengals, Browns, Cowboys those are all teams I see Stafford getting into shoot outs with. He could get 1200 give or take a few yards in just those 4 alone, setting him up for the Bears game.

I intially chose GB, but immediately wanted to change it, since I realized it was week 13. He better fucking have more than 3,000 yards by week 13. But on the off chance he doesn't, I can see another shoot-out against the fudge-packers.

How sad is it that a 25 Yeard old kid is actually going to break this record? How bad is it if he stayed healthy his first two years that record would have already been broke.

I was thinking the same thing, Muzz. Breaking it and only 25. Seriously, that has to be just another reason to consider he will be the answer to the curse of Bobby Lane.

Let's just hope the organization keeps Stafford for his full career. I've been alive about as long as the curse has been in effect. I want to see it ended, and a new era dawn for the Lions.

I feel ya vulture....I just don't understand the people not liking Stafford. My dad is one of them.

Good god thats over 30 years of shitty QBs....My dad has every right to think Stafford is just another one. I'm different though. I think Stafford is the one.

He's the right guy behind center Man Boobs and all. Dan Marino had man boobs too and I would have taken him for a full decade of the 80s.
