Depression is a motherfucker. So sad. If only he could've seen himself the way others saw him. Or felt the same joy in his life that others felt when he played a character for us.

Mork and Mindy was the only thing that I ever saw make my father laugh out loud.

One of my faves too. Dead Poet's Society, What Dreams May Come, Moscow on the Hudson, Aladdin, Cadillac Man, the Birdcage...

I doubt there is anyone on earth who doesn't have a character he played or bit he's done among their favorites of all time.

Always preferred his more serious roles to his comedic roles (Good Morning Vietnam being the best of both worlds). Ugly divorce recently if I'm not mistaken (hence why he's in a Snickers commercial and that awful show with Sarah Michelle Gellar). I would imagine that played a big part in all of this.

I thought he was great in "Dead Poet's Society" and "Good Morning Vietnam". He was really good in most things. I liked a little role he had in an otherwise decent movie called "Dead Again".

Its a really sad episode but he was fantastic on an early episode of "Homicide".

If anyone listens to podcasts Williams was on an early episode of Marc Maron's WTF and its notable because its a good interview and it might be one of the few times I ever heard Robin be himself and not perform.

Dead Again is a tremendously underrated movie. Performances were soooo good across the board. Made up for a flimsy story. everyone sold every single character.
