Remember how far our program sunk when Connor Barwin used to get playing time?

Well, to be fair, the team was already a shitshow when Barwin joined. I just want the guy that's not athletic enough to drive so he spends all his time perfecting his jumper. The guy that Xavier always seems to have, that three point specialist. So, ya. A white guy.

Evans is a key. He's going to be a guy that can actually drive. His speed is unmatched on the team with regards to driving. Maybe Jennifer, but he's got to get on the court. Hard to argue to get him on when that usually means Caupain has to come off.

Looking forward to this Cumberland kid, too. Dude is a flat out scorer as well. It's rare that Cronin goes out and recruits a few kids who are more scorers than "athletes". Evans was a flat out scorer, and it's been great to see him step up his game on defense.

Shaq would be much better on another team that runs more. He's a non-factor in the half-court game, but when this team gets out and runs, and really pushes the pace, he does well.

However, this year, the intensity level just dropped big time. It's picked back up over the last 2 weeks. No coincidence it coincides with a visit from Kenyon Martin talking about defense and effort. They need to get him on staff. He'll be back practicing with the team and coaching for the AAC tournament. That can't be a bad thing.

He's done pretty good in the D-league. I know that's for scrubs, but better than sucking in the D-league. Nuggets gave him his second 10-day contract. It would be nice to see him latch on, but you know if he doesn't he's going to Europe. It's got to be like UC-lite over there.

He's gotten worse every year.

It's amazing. Ellis has regressed, too. He's being outplayed by a sophomore in Clark. Clark is doing what Ellis should easily be able to do, but he can't keep from making stupid fouls and doing stupid stuff.

To say that this year has been a disappointment would be a vast understatement after last year, and returning nearly every single player. Just a complete collapse of effort and will at times that baffles the mind for such a veteran team.

It's clearly listed as off-topic and it's clearly advertised. Several of the folks that have posted on here for a long time used to post on both the Bengals and Bearcats board when the ESPN forums were still around. After we moved to the SportsHoopla, many of us didn't feel like posting in multiple places.... Particularly since their wasn't a lot of traffic on either initially so we just made sub-threads here. I'm not sure why this bothers you so much.
