This Sergei Bobrovsky guy is pretty good.

He was traded for a 2nd rounder and 2 4th rounders. In order to make way for Bryzgalov.

Those pics were:
Anthony Stolarz
Taylor Leier
Justin Auger (By Los Angeles)

I <3 Paul Holmgren

In a battle between this year's Flames goalie and last year's Flames goalie, any surprise that the final score is 5-4.

It seems the NHL fits a perfect bell shaped curve this season. Tampa on one end and Arizona on the other. The rest of the teams are all pretty much in the middle.

This is becoming like the NFL with all the parody this season. This definitely isn't you're father's NHL, that's for sure.

DOANED!

I like Paul Byron and wish he was still in Calgary.

The rare 3-on-1 rush while shorthanded and Granny goes five-hole on Jake Allen.

Got to think some big changes are coming to Montreal soon. Terrible effort last night again.

Bergevin has never been shy about making big trades, I just wonder what he can do to make a big change. Do you trade Patches?

So Zacha was healthy scratched last game. Henrique was dropped to the 4th line in practice and at one point threw his stick in the stands. These 2 so far have been the biggest underachievers on the team so hopefully this sparks them and they play to potential.

Coincidentally they're also the likeliest trade chips moving forward so hoping they get their stock up.

Zacha's really been a disappointment. No progress at all year-to-year.

But I wouldn't give up on him yet.

He's still young and he shows flashes here and there, just a matter of consistently putting it together. Whether or not that ever happens remains to be seen.

During the second intermission on HNIC they stated that Bergevin and the team thought they could compete for the east this season. Why? What was their logic behind such a thought.

No one on that roster should be untouchable.

By their logic, having won the division last season to go along with roster "upgrades" like getting Drouin instead of Radulov and signing Karl Alzner (lol) should've pushed them upwards I guess.
