Drouin's doing good though for them. Still think they should have kept Radulov though.

I saw this in various parts of "hockey twitter" and I honestly don't get why it's so funny.

Is it because it's such a "basic" take?

Sometimes "hockey twitter" can be cringy. Like this situation and the Tony X saga....

I guess I didn't know it was THE Keith Ballard, given the Twitter handle and lack of followers. I figured it was a smurf. Also didn't know it referenced a moment during those tumultuously competitive Southeastern Division years.

I stand corrected.

Went to the Caps/Flames matchup tonight, @dash

At least the Flames showed us some good hockey. Nice win for your boys. Mike Smith was outstanding.

Ducks win back to back games and gave up 94 shots on goal in the process. I'm guessing they did't win the corsi battle.

In Randy they trust.

He's the main reason (along with Johnny Hockey and Moneyhands) that the Flames aren't Joe Namath strug-gle-ing like the Oilers. The NHL these days is a special teams league, 5-on-5 there is a lot of parity, you need your PP and PK to be on if you want to win.

Edit: That was likely the best game the Flames have played this season, more of that please and thanks. Tough game coming up on Wednesday against Columbus, strange things always seem to happen when the Flames visit @forty_three and the Jackets.

Heck, any win with Reto Berra between the pipes is like found money, esls.

Little known fact:

They edited that play with CGI for all the highlight reels. The actual play was much more shocking and violent.

Break up the Coyotes. They swept through Eastern Canada. Who knows? I picked them as a darkhorse to make the playoffs, that may very well happen.
