Yes, some highly paid top receivers got close to winning rings, but in recent years, none has. Even Antonio Brown also has exactly zero rings. Bottom line: receivers matter, collectively. You need passing threats. But single great receivers don't seem to move the needle in the NFL, like say, a great QB, or a great pass rusher.
