just saw an angle.... A helmet was in the way but for that split second it appeared his knee possibly did hit the ground.. However it wasn't that obvious and I don't think it was "conclusive" enough to make them overturn it

That's my take, too. But oh well. Didn't expect to beat the Falcons and aside from the picks, 2 of which were basically luck, the Falcons were the better team today.

Watch the slow mo. 2 things. He pushes off his leg and striaghtens it out just before it touchs the ground. Also, he was touched before he had full control of the ball so it should not even matter.

Lions completely screwed on bogus call to reverse a TD. Fix was in and probably will be all year to get the Falcons back to the SB after last years epic collapse the league feels they need to have another chance.

NFL is a disgrace. I think a boycott is in order. Pathetic.

So Detroit should have been given a free timeout? Cause if the correct call is made the first time, that clock is still running and with 8 seconds and the clock running, gonna be very borderline for Detroit to get another play anyways.

It's a completely shitty situation. IMO they should have spotted the ball and ran the clock immediately.

Until you can show a picture showing the ball crossing/touching the goal line, the other pics are irrelevant.

Knee definitely not down as he crosses goal line. There are 2 times he MAY be down. His knee around the 1/2 yard line and then again his thigh right as he approaches/crosses the goal line. Tough to say. I think the thigh was too close to call and can't over turn for that. I think the knee was down at the 1/2. This is what would be a perfect angle, but then disappears behind a guys helmet. Not likely his knee falls towards the ground and then without hitting catapults back up off the ground so good chance he was down. But is it enough to overturn? I wonder what angle the review officials had.

There are 100 still frames out there that show his knee up, but they don't matter. They are before or after the frame in question. If 100 show him up and one down he is down.

Now often times the ref overturns a play and then, even though not part of the original review, looks for the spot on his own. Why can't the ref look for the appropriate time on the clock during this review. So if he was down and there was 11 seconds why not set to 1 and give a play? Has the league addressed this question and explained why or perhaps that they f'ed up??

it looked to me that the knee touched and bounced back up right before he crossed the plane. I certainly am no fan of the Falcons
