so what's the "routine"?
X will do much worse than Y would expect, and A thinks B is a massive homer for expecting X to do well; is a pretty common example. Copy paste for all 32 teams sports in some fashion at some scope and it applies for the most part.

I was talking more globally, but I can probably think of a couple fun ones just about the Chiefs I suppose just for fun from my time elsewhere. There aren't really any haters (Different from critics) of the Chiefs that are still on this board which isn't surprising since we haven't had an active presence on the NFL forums to rustle jimmies. Though Kwityerwhinin was a good little hater for the brief time he posted on here in 2013, twas on disney as well before then. A shame BeachbumBoltz didn't show up over here, that was a fun guy to give crap to after the Chargers lost.

Fans of the sport of football must respect the intelligence, the success, and the brains of the New England Patriots.

Every season, Bill Belichek receives the lowest draft positions, yet, Bill continues to draft good players. Bill's draft choices rival most of the league's drafts, yearly.

Bill has the ability to optimizing his selections' talent, as a coach.

In addition, Bill does a great job in the free-agent market.

Although the Chargers are my favorite team, I must admit, again: Bill and the Patriots are geniouses.

Excellent article and the grudge index of the Hoop as of late is noted by:

...but don't worry, at some point Tom will have a poor game as all QBs do and they'll all be back to their same old tricks.

Jerry Thornton is the ultimate homers homer, which makes him fun to read.

Bill has a system and he has done well keeping a legit leader that buys into it and gets everyone else to as well. When Brady leaves will be Bills first challenge. He didn't do anything of note before Tom, can he do anything of note after Tom? No Tom + a few losses and the players will stop believing in the system. Then total scrubs like Blount will revert back to their old self.

You don't think the "Galloping Chicken" was a decent example?

And still the only team in the NFL that is considered a failure if they don't win the SB every year. Literally the only team in the NFL held to that standard.

Yourself included, hence the 12 year comment.

Yes, any time the media pounds their chests over a team that always wins, it should be mentioned that they are the ONLY team in the NFL NOT measured by SB wins.....If they were, it would be pointed out that over the past dozen seasons, which is a HUGE sample, they have as many, or LESS rings, than a lot of teams in the NFL....And the one win they had, they were insanely fortunate, as we all know
