Patriots & Packers Game Suspended

In the fourth quarter of the preseason game between the Packers and Patriots, the game was suspended after a severe injury to Patriots CB Isaiah Bolden.

Nolden's head and neck were snapped as he and two team mates were making tackle.

Bolden was strapped from feet to helmet and taken off the field.

Head coaches watched the entire medical procedure and decided that there had been enough injuries for one night.

Patriots were leading 21=17 when te game was called.

Posted in our thread read this morning he was released from hospital and travelled back with team to Boston.

Patriots changed plans and cancelled joint practices with Titans this week.

Why have they made the move for this week? That’s a pretty shitty thing to do to the Titans. Teams count on those joint practices these days even more so than the preseason contests. I’d be really pissed if I was them. At this late hour, they can’t scramble to get somebody else.

He has every right. If I’m a coach I would never agree to do anything with the man. He can’t be counted on or trusted to come through on commitments. Bolden can and had gotten the medical care he needs. That has little to do with honoring the commitments they’ve made.

Except trying to get rid of Brady and Gronk , 3 SB wins later. Hopefully he can get to .500 w/o him before he retires, and win a playoff game

Some years ago, the NFLPA got the league to change preseason rules to involve less contact and less time devoted to conditioning. The Patriots always did better than most teams injury-wise because Belichick always stressed conditioning in pre-season so his team was less susceptible to not-being-ready injuries.
