The hotel had an obligation to do what they believed was in the best interest of their employee which they did by asking Irvin to leave. They had an obligation to act. That's all they did.

About the whole scissors incident. Yes Irvin did assult a teammate with scissors, yes it was over a haircut.

What's missing is Irvin felt entitled to the chair the teammate sat down when Irvin felt he was next. Irvin demanded the other guy get up, Erik Williams told the guy to stay whare he was, this led to shoving match that Irvin was destined to loose, and it ended with Irvin using the scissors as a weapon.

In now way am I defending Irvin here, but the whole story was whitewashed from day one.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. Not only did Irvin make that girl uncomfortable asking her if she liked big black dick inside her, but he then publicly accused her of lying and then doubled down and called her a racist. And to this day her only claim was that he said some inappropriate words to him and grabbed her arm. She hasn't claimed anything else. He was shit faced. She wasn't.

A man is being punished by his employer for alleged bad behavior, something said man has a history of. Either way, the claim was made privately and she had a right to make it. The hotel had a legal obligation to address the complaint of their employee. That's what they did. The NFL did their own investigation and made it public.
