Looks like Ennis heat career is done. Had a real bad summer league and was depresed tonight

I like Ennis, but not surprised that this happened. It was all but set in stone that he wouldn't be on the roster once Winslow was drafted. I wish Ennis the best and hopefully he has an opportunity to contribute somewhere else down the line.

May not become a hall of famer or even an all-star, but Ennis has the potential of being a quality player in this league - He will probably turn into that and more if the Heat decide to let him go - this is what happens when a team neglects a youth movement for the sake of over-paying 2-3 guys on a 15 man roster and paying washed up players.

Yikes!!!!! That boy is gone

And this pains me to see... I once believed this guy would be a great prospect to develop into a starter one day. I saw a lot of athleticism and the guy seemed to be the perfect guy to have in the D-League, only to become a big time player one day.... But 7 turnovers and 3/13? Yikes!! If I ever got to that on my NBA 2k MyCareer, I'd quit game and go delete the memory off my PlayStation.

Luckily... We have Justise Winslow and Luol Deng, so there's not that much to worry about... Maybe keep Ennis in the D-League? lol, I know, that's a stretch.

The potential for Ennis is still there - the problem is, as it may often be for young guys on the heat roster when they are in win-now mode - they dont get used enough or properly and are basically neglected - I always mention the importance of mental toughness on the part of players, and that is an aspect Ennis still has to work on - And it is one he should really put some work in - if he does in fact make it on the roster on opening night , he will need that mental toughness to be able to continue to put in the work to stay on the roster - as well as if he doesnt stay on the roster - he has to be able to still believe in himself if he isnt on the roster, or if he is , is still under-used - He needs to be mentally strong enough to realize that all it means is that he has to polish his game more - the potential is there.
