No clue how he will do as a HC, but very solid DC. If this happens, it's probably a good sign McDaniels will be getting a gig as well.

He seems like a relatable guy, which has become vitally important in todays NFL

Its a thing I fear about McDaniels, he may be good at the X's and O's, but he strikes me as a personality that lockerooms will steamroll when things go haywire....

I think maybe he felt that way about himself and built up this BB like persona to combat because he reportedly was a control freak in DEN.

Compounded by being given too much control...he couldn't handle it.

I've never liked McDaniels much because of where he works I guess, but he's one of the better big game play callers I've seen. I think he will be a little better this around.

IND seems like a pretty good spot for him, but I'm sure everyone wants to know the health of Luck.

Saban is being pretty outspoken about wanting the Giants job

Whats your take on Nick Saban the NFL Coach?

Lions will get that retard McHoody now.

Prolly draft Mayfield and trade Stafford for depth.

Why do teams still want Pats coordinators? All they do is fail.

Bill obrien got to the playoffs with osweiler. he had 3 straight 9 win seasons before this bust of a year, where he had 3 QB's start and lost watt. not his fault IMO.

Wow...I hadn't read that!

Lukewarm...to his credit had never had a QB in MIA. The big problem I see with Saban in the NFL...in college you can control the roster a lot more than you can in the NFL. At LSU and Bama he was able to stack the deck with talent because the kids feel even 1 or 2 yrs at Bama, they will have a shot to play on Sundays....obviously you can't do that to the same degree in the NFL.

Lukewarm.

9 wins seasons get you fired by real franchises.

Like the mighty Detroit Lions.

Is that dope Obrien the best example of a Pats coordinator "winning"?

I've asked a bunch of Lions fans after they've came in their undies at the idea of Matty Patty. But none of them ever want to answer the question. Like they skurd or something.

I know you'll shoot straight with me though.

9 win seasons were a success for the texans. brock osweiler? winning seasons are winning seasons, and obriens had 3 out of 4.

I think he's one of the worst Head Coaches in the NFL, just my opinion, not a popular one

The highlight of his career is to win a god awful division at 9-7, only to get steamrolled every time he sees the postseason

And for what its worth, his evaluation led to him deciding Tom Savage was better than the guy that may lead the Vikings to the Super Bowl

2014 he did. Fitzpatrick started weeks 1-9. 2016 Osweiler started weeks 1-14.

2015 it was Hoyer in Week 1 and Mallett in Weeks 2+3. 2017 it was Savage in Week 1 and Watson in Weeks 2+3.
