It is really weird seeing these guys all bundled up playing baseball. I just don't think of baseball as a cold weather sport.

Just about everyone has contributed today. So nice to see the guys pulling together to make it happen.

I'm having a better feeling about the seag man. He's doing his job today and contributing offensively. Nice to see him maybe working his way out of the doldrums.

It's almost as if having a little patience with a veteran hitter allows him to perform much like his career averages. Weird.

Who am I kidding? He'll strike out tomorrow and someone will want him DFA'd

I was a little worried about Nicasio coming into this game today, but now worries now, the Dude is flat out dealing today.

Another really good outing for Leake. The 'pen looked a little shaky but got the critical outs to hold the lead in what became a tight ballgame. Good to see Healy come through with a big hit, and of course Seager getting on the board with his first HR was a plus.

I'm as big of an Ichiro fan as anyone, but I'm having a tough time justifying him out in LF over Heredia. Ichiro's range is not what it used to be, and his stick isn't more valuable than Heredia's to the point where it makes sense to give him 2/3 of the innings.

Anyway, good win. If they play through the snow tomorrow, hopefully we can come out with a series win.

Good win

Some guys got off the schnide ... BP got some work in. Leake pitched another gem

Defense was solid ... nobody kicking balls around and some good baserunning.

That was some solid Mariners baseball and a border line butt whoopin against a pretty good MN team.

Got to get the job done tomorrow winning the rubber match. Us leaving town winning just 1 outa 3 is what the Twins wished for.

KC is playing some shitty ball right now ... so we are catching them at the perfect time to take minimum 2/3 or maybe a sweep

Pretty happy overall with the defense so far. Healy hasn't been hitting (until today), but his D has been notable. Gordon has been adequate for sure in CF while getting used to the position. Several spectacular plays by Seager at the hot corner with so far no flubs on the routine ones. Should only get better when Gamel & Mike Z get back. This year's team should be very good defensively.
