Nice at bat by Seager - worked his way into a great hitters count at 3-1 by laying off the junk not in the strike zone. Got himself into a nice fastball count and put a really nice swing on a mistake pitch by Borrias and bounced it off the foul pole for a 2 run HR.

Now lets add another run or 2 or 3 on next 5 innings and win this ball game !

Nothing official I am aware of ... no reason whatsoever not to roll with him up to 110 or so as effective as he has been all game.

If he can close out the next 2 innings in 25-30 pitches I am sure we see Nicasio / Vincent to wrap up the game. Sit Diaz - no reason to even warm him up in these temps in a non save situation.

maybe bring a lefty into a batter or 2 that needs some innings from the pen

Thanks MBF. It would be nice to see Leake continue but I hope Servais doesn't over do it with Leake-no reason for that to happen.
Healy is going to break out sooner or later...just a matter of time and we'll see him put up some decent #'s

The key now is how Servais works the pen. In the past he has usually let the wheels fall off before he deals with it. Can't let the pen get out of hand cuz we really need this W today. Leake did a superb job and has earned and deserve to put a W in his pocket.

I would give Motter the start at 1b tomorrow and roll out Vogey as DH again or switch those 2 exact opposite

In most cases I would agree with you, but if you have a guy who I just a total hacker at the plate more reps are not going to help him. If you are saying send him to the minors to change his swing, then I would buy that but sending him down just to do what he does won't matter. I would love to see him change his stroke in the early off season and then go to some winter league and use it in action.

That's what I'm saying by him playing in the minors. To work on a new approach at the plate. Maybe he never does reach the potential his raw ability has but he is a waste of a roster spot when Gamel gets back if they really think Ichiro is a better player than he is. Romine and Motter are more valuable than a guy who is only on the roster because he has a great arm.

I really liked Logan and was pissed off when they dumped him. He hasn't done anything for the twins today but his numbers have been solid since leaving the M's. I always remember how he'd run over to Rodney to watch him shoot his arrow at the close of a W.
