Stafford was terrible today, but I can't believe some of the goofy stuff this team comes up with. We can't even depend on our play makers to do anything.

true. still though, if you get a couple of yards up the middle, it's close to 40. and if you can't hand a regular season game to your kicker from 40.. obviously not good. any kicker who has the leg, i'd give him the shot 100% of the time. at the very least, a safe short pass.

Bottom line is that forcing throws deep to CJ leads to 4 INTs. Its too predictable. Its fine coming from behind when you are desperate, but not on a regular basis. Teams will go back to 2 deep safeties and our offense will look like it did today.

It's all 2nd guessing. Akers is 50% from > 40. They weren't getting any push from the run game. They broke a couple of big ones here & there but that was it. There were several TFLs. They could have just as easily lost yardage as gained any. I don't know if you saw it but the ball was in Calvin's hands on the 5 and he just coughed it up. That could have happened anywhere on the field with any of our receivers.
