Why don't you read the thread clown. BamaTee responded to Pedro. You butted in.

he "responded" by telling him to "go look it up" when it really isn't that easily of a thing to look up as evidenced by it getting quite a few posts before someone came up with the answer.

you never did answer... how long are you going to whine about the refs in the 2013 iron bowl? how long is that butt going to hurt?

Nebbish was #1 when OU beat them in 2002 and the week before, OU beat #2 KSU.

OU beat #8 KSU in the CCG.

FSU was ranked #3 when OU beat them in the OB for the MNC.

By law, he is innocent. If you don't like it, have a DA bring charges against him.

And I'm not threatening you with anything. But writing known lies to defame a person is libel. So I'm just telling you to tread carefully. Keep on posting that kind of garbage, and you probably have a better chance of being convicted of libel at this point than he does of being convicted of stealing.

Haha yeah buddy, you better "tread carefully". You might get charged with libel. :laugh3:

In 1977 ND beat #1 USC and #1 Texas in the same season. Not sure if there are other times but there wouldnt be too many. Hell OU and ND are tied for most wins vs number 1's all time with 8 so having it happen 2 times in a yer would be crazy. There are only 10 teams in all CFB who have beaten a number 1 3 times or more in their programs history

In 2000 Oklahoma defeated #1 Nebraska, #1 Kansas St., and #1 Texas in 3 consecutive weeks. Then went on to beat #1 Fsu for the Natty.

Actually, ya beat one number 1 team that year skippy.

Who would have thought that this

4th and 5 at AUB 27Connor Halliday pass incomplete to Dom Williams.

would turn out to be a pivotal play in determining the National Championship.

(WSU down by 7 with 2 minutes to go and at the Auburn 27).

USC was ranked #4/#5 in the 2 polls when they played.

probably not too many. and who knows, if auburn loses that game, they may lose to mississippi state the next week. and if they do, there is the chance the wheels come off the gus bus before it ever starts using gusoline.

I know I thought it was two conference bottom dwellers playing a decent game, then of course WSU beat SC and Auburn beat, well just about everyone...

What rankings are you using?

It does not seem entirely accurate. From the AP, Kansas State was #2 at the time they played and Texas was #11, and Florida State was #3. Florida State was #2 in the final BCS poll.

Granted, beating #2 in the BCS title game seems just as impressive as beating #1. At least imo.

OU beat #1 Texas, #2 Kansas State, and then Nebraska moved up to #1 and OU beat them the third week. Then beat #1 Fsu in NC game. Heres the article....

I don't know what to say other than Texas was #11 when they played and Florida State was #3 when they played. Nebraska was the only #1 team they beat that season.

Still a helluva season and everything... but not 2 different #1s.

Texas was not #1. They were ranked 11th and OU spanked that ass 63-14. FSU was ranked #3 when OU played them, not #1. And the great thing about the OU vs Nebbish game was Nebbish ran out to a 14-zip lead before OU stormed back and beat the Bugeaters, decisively, 31-14.

My bad, you're right. For some reason, and the article didn't say but I thought Texas was #1. I should of known better.....lol

I'm not sure what polls you and Jenni were using here is the AP Poll week by week.

2000 NCAA Division I-A football rankings - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They beat Texas on October 7th when Texas was ranked 11
They beat KSU on October 14th when KSU was ranked #2
They beat Nebraska October 28th when Nebraska was ranked #1
They beat FSU in the sham BCS which should have been played by Washington (not Miami). FSU was #3 at game time.

The answers been given. Only one team in history beat two #1 teams in the same season. Florida 2008. USC was ranked #5 in the AP poll and #4 in the coaches poll. That's not #1.

Why does it appear that "I am an Auburn fan now" fans don't know anything about college football and its rich history?

what are you talking about?

it's only been done one other time in history. florida (2008).
