Idaho- 23-50 overall record

La Tech- 32-41 overall record

San Jose State- 26-47 overall record

Hawaii- 51-29 overall record....5-11 vs BCS conference teams though

Nevada- 51-27 overall record....3-9 vs BCS conference teams

Fresno State- 44-33 overall record...5-10 vs BCS conference teams


so you had 4 god awful teams

and 3 teams who inflated their records vs cupcakes yet went 13-30 combined vs the big boys

like I said a down Big 10 still worlds above the WAC in Boises Run

ohio state has played 1 top 35 team this year. that's boise territory my friend. i won't even go into utah in 2008 and why they were far more impressive and deserving of a title shot than ohio state in 2012, even if they hadn't been on probation.

Sorry Buckeye fans. I really do hate to start ANOTHER thread for yall.

But this needs to be mentioned.

Ohio State's 3 road wins in conference come at the expense of teams that have an 0-18 conference record.

Add Cal to that and the teams conferences records of tOSU's road opponents in 0-26!!!!

Add that to a game scheduled vs Cal years ago when they were a top 15 team rivaling USC as the best team in the PAC. Now Cal is having the worst year in school history. Cal will finish 1-11 with the only win being Portland State, a game that was close in the 4th quarter.

Ohio State is doing the job on the offense. The Bucks have some big time problems on defense. Giving up a lot of points to Illinois and Cal isnt a good reflection.

I think next year Ohio State's defense will be scary good as every one comes back. Next year is your year IMO.

I think it is a blessing that the Bucks are likely going to the RB this season. I think if they got beat badly by FSU or Bama.... The negative perception of the B1G would be enhanced.

Outside of MSU and Wisky is there any hope for the rest of the B1G in the future? Man, Coach Urb could go 3 seasons in a row without losing and due to other B1G teams or the National perception of the conference's deficiencies.

I also believe that FSU's scheduled opponents are no better than tOSUs. But FSU has looked absolutely dominant in every aspect of the game against everyone.

Nobody can score on them and the offense scores at will.

Not much to say about that. The schedule is the schedule. Northwestern was undefeated when we played them, and hasn't won since. We beat a good Wisconsin team which is obviously our signature win of the year. All we can do is play the remaining schedule out and see where that leaves us.

With that in mind, there really isn't much of a separation between Ohio State and Alabama since 2000. The more interesting thing I saw was Baylor doesn't have 1 single T25 win on the road since 2000... maybe I should dig into the 90's

I do find it impressive with 7 of 17 Alabama's T15 wins being on the opponents field. I don't know if I can speak for all buckeye fans, but I always hate playing road games vs T10-15 team.

No, Florida was pretty much nothing until 1990. But, what new teams have signed up to play UF? UF hasn't neded to schedule anyone new as it has always had good scheduling. Whatever success Florida has had it came by playing the teams UF always plays - SEC teams and FSU. They just started beating them.

Yah, they have a weak schedule this year and The B1G is down. But people don't realize this ^^^. tOSU is at the top or close to it in the BCS era of being the best team in the nation. Of course Bama has 3 NC's and that is the difference and a big one. But tOSU has been playing good if not great competition for years and it will start again next year and it would also help if the B1G got stronger.
