He will be remembered as a spectacular coach who didn't need to cheat to win, but did.

I don't think there's any doubt he's a great coach. One of the best of all time.

But to say he's obsessive about winning is an understatement.

You don't have to be a nice guy to be a good football coach.

Oops this was really for this thread from the other tom brady thread:

He knows what the strengths of his QB are, uses them and is willing to change for the QB. Outside the top talent players (ala Gronkowski) he goes and fills the other skill positions with any retreads that have the exact skill set he wants for that one role they will play.

On the other hand, as an example, you have something like that d-bag offensive coordinator in Atlanta that is trying to force Matt Ryan to be something he isn't.

I think he just signs a street free agent every week and sacrifices him to the dark god Cthulu.

Only explanation.

To me you have to give a lot of credit to Josh McDaniels this year. Having said that Belichick is the best head coach in today's NFL and will go down as one of the all time greats.
It wouldn't hurt for the dude to go to charm school though:2cents:

Wish he didn't coach the second half of last season, cost the Pats HFA with his dumb play calling vs Philly , Denver, Jets and Miami. Win one of those games, and Denver would have had to travel to Gillete and most likely lose , they hardly ever win in Denver.

Tom Couglin disagrees with you

I hear that a lot, but I disagree with it. Denver's defense was rolling, especially their pass rush and NE's O-line was in shambles. They were also missing some other very important parts (Lewis, Develin etc) and I'm not so sure they win in New England either.

Bro they lost by 2 points and would have only had to kick an xtra point to go into OT if Gostkowski didn;t miss one already. Their record in Mile-high is absolutely dogshit while they have the best HFA in the NFL since 2001. Not saying they would have won but probably would have. You lose by only 2 in Denver should win by at least a FG in Gillette

Yeah, I get all that, but Brady was going to his ass beat up no matter where they played.

As opposed to a bouncing about gum chewing dipshit.....
Well Hank, he does chew gum like it is going outta style, but you make for a much more adept dipshit.
