Why Rodgers?

He's lost to the Falcons 3 times in less than a year. He's old news.
I don't know...consistenly getting his teams to the playoffs might have a LITTLE something to do with that. And I DO seem to remember them beating Atlanta once in the NFC playoff....seems they also WON the Superbowl that year.

Playing in the NFCN might have a LITTLE to do with that? 10-7 record in the playoffs. Seems he's able to get his team to the playoffs. After that well the numbers speak for themselves. Cue the excuses in 3,2,1 :behindsofa:

Was that even in this decade? Nobody cares about ancient history.

If Brady had only gotten to more Super Bowls it would've given him a chance to katchup with Rodgers . Brady has no one to blame but himself I guess ....

Well, it's better than Marvin Lewis. :D
Anyway, back to the main topic. Personally, I don't care if the two teams meet up in the SB or not. I'm not one who believes in the QB head to head match-up baloney. To me, it's nothing but media hype.

They both play on offence, so it's pretty unlikely they will ever face off with each other in the Super Bowl, unless you mean Madden

I think the biggest knock on Rodgers is that he allows the other team to score over 36 points a game in Packers losses. He actually plays pretty good defense when the Packers win, though, and he gives up less than 19 PPG in those games.

This is clearly why AR should be the run away MVP every season. Amazing. I thought TB12 was the only player that played both offense and defense.

well, as a Steelers fan, I'd rather watch a Ben-Rogers rematch :D,

but as a football fan, yeah, that would be a great SB to watch.

good point His D has -10 and -25 point leads in the last 2 SB's and his offense blows it for him

There is no knock on Rodgers he is in top 2 of QBs now. Before that it was Brady and Manning, Montana and Marino, Montana and Elway etc etc. I personally don't compare SB or rings because that's usually a team thing, I look at the whole body of work including stats. Rodgers is still young and plenty time to cement his legacy

Would like a Brady/Wilson rematch, but Brady/Rodgers would make for great TV. That would be a very good 2 week hype going into the game.

Well, maybe next year.

Tom will be replaced next year.

Rodgers will come back but it might be too late since Hundley is so freaking bad. It's almost hilarious how bad he is yet the Pack released two QB's who looked pretty good in preseason.
