If the Broncos lose Brock Osweiler, will they trade for Colin Kaepernick?

Kaep is not worth a 4th round pick. He's worthless.

I totally agree! How could anyone in the league thing Colin Kaepernick is the best option available when you have one of these guys in the draft?

I'd almost think the 49ers would have to package a 4th-rounder with him to make him seem more attractive.

The market price for a one-read quarterback who easily gets flustered, has the common sense of a teenager, who has terrible accuracy, AND STILL HAS NO IDEA WHERE THE FUCKING PLAY CLOCK IS, can't be very high. Take whatever they offer. He's a flawed player and he's honestly worthless.

"Yea but he runs fast and he throws hard. He has potential."

He has "potential" the same way a 4.2 wide receiver with no arms has potential. He's missing some very key attributes, and after many years of trying to fix those, he has shown me that he is not capable of doing so.

The Broncos have no shot at Wentz, and little chance at Lynch. Wentz will likely be top 5, and it's doubtful that Lynch slides all the way to the end of the 1st. Lynch has to sit for at least a year. Wentz is more ready, but has to adjust to a bigger change in level of competition and may need to sit for a year as well. Kaep can play immediately.

Broncos top rookie option is probably Cook.

The Titans top pick is a phone call away.

To move down to #31? That would be record-breaking expensive.

I was at the Titans event last Saturday and Robinson said it'd take a "king's ransom" to buy the pick. You're right, it'd probably take #31, a 2nd-rounder and a future first-rounder.

Not even close to enough value. The difference between #1 and #31 is 2400 points via the value chart.

Draft Trade Chart | ProFootballTalk

The Broncos #2 is only worth 284 pts. Future 1sts are devalued at least 1 round due to uncertainty where they will fall and the wait to receive them. It would take 4 future 1sts to close that gap. It's just too far to go unless the Titans are willing to accept pennies on the dollar, or Denver throws in some pro bowl players.
