Just pray we get foster or reddick at 17.
I hear ya, but Foster or Reddick aren't going to be difference-makers if they don't have any protection from our D-line, and our D-line sucks right now.

It's a catch-22. And #22 on the Skins roster is a DB.

So we can either draft a D-lineman and mis on the ILB, or draft the ILB and hole we get lucky and get a D-lineman in the second.

Personally In all for grabbing two D-lineman, rolling with Comptom and Foster for another season and seeing if Spaight can be salvaged. No matter what we do, we are going to live on the strength of the offense for at least another season or two.

It seems that most don't understand a 1 gap defense. An outstanding player at either ILB or DL will help. We need both a good ILB and a good DT.

This isn't rocket science if you are a good talent evaluator. You set up your board rated 1 - whatever at every position. If you have 3 or 4 or 5 positions of need when it comes to your pick you pick the highest rated guy at one of those positions. The only difference is if say a WR was available but you didn't feel you needed one but the one available was head and shoulders the best player then you take BPA.

sorry , hassan reddick is our best pick hands down and we need to pick him if he is there . my research indicates that a wormley , adams johnson, jones will be there later in the draft

i think we can get 3 d/lineman in this draft with jones , vanderdos , and one of 3 NTS big stevie , rashad coward , or topula on the board

we have options if we are smart

the Redskins never taken a middle/inside linebacker in the first round of the common draft (since 1966).

IN over 50 years of drafting this team has NEVER taken an ILB in the first round. Might that change this year??/ Maybe. But we really just dont seem to value the position that highly as an organization.

Then some one better start slipping focusome into Bruce and Dans morning coffee, cause smart and Redskins front office are two words that rarely go together.

that intel makes it difficult to gauge whether the 'skins would take foster at 17 even if he was there.
I didn't agree with passing on Leonard Williams but it worked out really well with Brandon. Hopefully before they fired SM, they soaked up and stole as much info from him as possible on how to actually draft a player that either fits a need or is talented and won't have to retire their 2nd year.

I'm amazed at how Foster went from this top 5 prospect to top 20 just from not being able to perform at the combine. His film is CRAZY, and I'd love to have a guy with his no-nonsense mentality here.

Redskins drafted Charlie Gogolak in 1966. I don't see where we drafted a MLB in the 1st round. We are due. :D

Shoulda drafted Pete a couple years earlier.

The one thing worse than picking a QB at 17? Picking a kicker. Actually, with a good FG kicker last season, we coulda lost in the first round of the playoffs again.

If Foster and Reddick are off the board at #17?

A: I look for a trade partner so we can move down a few slots and possibly pick up a 3rd, 5th or 6th. If we can somehow land one of the impact DL at say 21-24 and add 2 picks, that's what I would do.

HTTR!

Considering that right now we have two backups, Ziggy hood, and a couple of second year guys any one on this list would be more of an impact

Caleb Brantley
Malik McDowell
Chris Wormley
Montravius Adams
Jaleel Johnson
Jarron Jones
Charles Walker
Carlos Watkins

And lets be honest... if we go into the season with Ziggy as our starting ANY thing, it wont matter one bit who is at ILB.

Well he had ti give up on Allen because we aint trading with the Niners and despite health concerns, he is still a op ten pick. So Reddick it is,

i dont dislike cook , but i really think reddick is the game changer we need on defense . the good news is there is depth at LB and RB in this draft so there is hope
