We been killing the coho all summer. Freezer is plumb full. Have a lot of smoked. Like a lot.

Haven't caught as many cod as I would like. Only been out for albacore once. Got a fish box full, over 50.

That terafin is well with the $100. Tells you right where to go for tuna.

Last time was 42 miles.

And Ed, I get cell phone service up to 2-3 miles out..... Re: previous "how far out were you on phone" question.

I'm still gimpy en sech. Still feel unnervingly fragile, but light years better in terms of the recovery as a whole. Good enough to lazy-man fish and even have a few beers once in awhile.

Can't fly fish or golf yet, so that's some bullshit, but I appreciate the sentiment and I'm glad to be back.

Shrimpin season is upon us. Went last night and "coolered." Coolered is a term we use that means we caught the limit. The limit is a 48 qt cooler full of shrimp with the heads on. I think it's 21 qts if you head them. Anyway, they were small shrimp. We're going to have to try a new location, possibly push a little further out towards the ocean and see if we can net some bigger shrumps.

Edisto, my cousin has been out getting shrimp too, I'll post a photo of what he's pulling in. They look like jumbos to me but you'll know more than I.
