Herman is going to be a motherfvker with or without Stoops. I would have given my left testicle to get that guy at Washington if Petersen wasn't already there. With that said OU is in super shape atm and if Riley can coach the sky is the limit.

Chuck Fairbanks, who went 52-15-1, had 3 Big 8 Championships, a Heisman Trophy winner, an Orange Bowl win, and 2 Sugar Bowl wins, implemented the Wishbone Offense with his OC Barry Switzer, coached the Game of the Century against Nebraska, left for an NFL job, Barry Switzer took the reins of the Oklahoma program.

Barry went 28 games straight without a loss and won 2 NC's in his first 3 years.

Still amazed how much ND jumped the gun with CW. If I recall first season wasn't over and they gave him a 10 year contract? They are probably still paying him NOT to coach
