well at least if GS doesn't win the Finals we can still say the 1997 Bulls were the best team in NBA history, a title they rightfully should have.

Most overrated ever? It's not like this is the 1st round of the playoffs. Here are some shocking NBA playoff upsets (from cheatsheet.com)...

# 5- 2011 first round: Memphis (8) beat S.A. (1)
# 4- 2010 semi's: Boston beat Cleveland
# 3- 2004 Finals: Detroit over L.A.
# 2- 1994 first round: Denver (8) stunned Seattle (1)
# 1- 2007 first round: G.S. (8) shocks Dallas (1)

Seems like GSW is also not in the first round, yet he thinks GSW is the most overrated team in NBA history.

I know right? It's pretty hilarious that they won 3 straight

That's why I said it, thanks to OKC giving up leads it happened. No surprise honestly, the Thunder have been doing it all year. Plus we had to get the rematch from last year, it only makes sense.

Either way this is Lebron's chance to prove that he is the man - and come back and beat the Warriors. If he doesn't then it's Lebron that's over-rated and not the Warriors.

very good post.

I really am interested to see how Golden State reacts to adversity. Like you and the above posters said- they have not played a true title contender at full strength YET in their 2 year run...in all likelihood- they will have to play 2- the Thunder and Cavs- if they are to win it again.

I give the Thunder a ton of credit for spending the money on Kanter, and bringing along Adams so well. They finally added a legit front court to RW and Durant and they are lucky enough to be healthy.

Every team needs a little luck to win a title...luck was not i nshort supply for the Warriors last year...this year we shall see.

Funny, GS beat the cavs with their entire team healthy and on the floor by 30 plus points THIS year.

But then again... Would the cavs make the playoffs if they played in the west? So maybe you have a point.
