Because this one is in Germany, don't think either has an advantage.

Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reports Patriots CB J.C. Jackson won’t join the team on their trip to Germany for Week 10.
Jackson was benched for some of the team’s Week 9 loss to Washington after showing up late on Saturday at the Patriots hotel. Jackson, who re-joined the Patriots after a failed tenure with the Chargers, has long struggled with what Breer called “reliability issues.” This has clearly drawn the ire of disciplinarian Bill Belichick. Jackson is expected to return to the team following their Week 11 bye. New England’s defense has been graded by PFF as this year’s 16th best coverage unit.

Being fifteen minutes late for a bed check might be a discipline issue, but does is warrant being benched for two games?

I think that Bill has lost control of this team and is trying to get it back. And he doesn't see that this is not the way to deal with player problems in 2023. Does he really believe that taking action like that will attract other players to the Patriots in the future?

He's demonstrating that he puts himself above the team and that he cannot be trusted. Players that put themselves above the team are losers. This team doesn't need losers.

All we 'know' is what Breer has told us. If we question he other information, then this might be questionable.

Last week he sat JC, Jack Jones and Boutte. So JC's indiscretion was so severe that he's out for 2 games?

My point is that BB's doghouse isn't something that other players want to deal with and it's a turnoff for potential free agents. It could be a major reason why Bill can't sign top free agents on the first day. If I'm an agent, I know what problems my guys have and the last thing I want for them is to be publicly embarrassed by Bill for something that could be handled a bit more maturely. Just sayon'.................

Interesting thing about today's game.

Colts run the ball about 8 of every 10 offensive plays. They have Johnathan Taylor and Zack Moss as their 1-2 punch.

IF, big IF, the Patriots can stuff or at least prevent the two RB from their 5.0 yard per carry average, then the Colts are in serious trouble because they don'y have a challenbing passing attack. We should know right away whether or not the coaching prepared the defense for this game or not.

Demario Douglas (ankle) is active for Week 10 against the Colts.
Douglas entered the weekend listed as questionable because of his ankle issue. After getting in three limited practices this week, there was never much risk that Douglas would be forced to sit out this week. Acting as the WR1 for New England, Douglas will rank as a top-36 fantasy option heading into an injury-riddled week at the position. Inactive for the Pats are CB Alex Austin, ILB Ja’Whaun Bentley, OT Trent Brown, CB J.C. Jackson, WR DeVante Parker, and DE Sam Roberts.
