Weis avg 7.25 wins in his first 4 seasons

Ty avg 7 wins in his 3 seasons as coach

Davie avg 7.5 in his first 4 seasons.

Point is Kelly is far & away the best coach we had since Lou

Getting rid of him would be dumb.

He made the national title in year 3 and won 9 games in year 4 with his backup QB.

I would have to see it happen fore more than one year.

If ND doesn't win another game this year or just win the bowl game and next year only win 7 or 8 games then yes get rid of Kelly.

But this year we dealt with injuries, suspensions, new defensive coordinator, and etc.

I have to see more than one bad/down year before getting rid of a coach.

Exactly. The injuries and suspensions killed our defense.

Everything just went downhill after the Navy game. I forgot who said it on here but we really should look into having our bye after the Navy game instead of before.

In 2012 he had them in the National title game and he's 44-19 (69.8%).

Do not fire him, you aren't guaranteed to find anybody better.

Dude we had Tommy Rees as our QB last year and a brutal schedule to go along with it. I don't think anyone on here honestly expected more than 8 or 9 wins in the regular season with Tommy as our starter.

I will call everyone out on their BS and ask for proof if they thought we were a 10+ win team with Tommy.

no i think kelly is a good coach and yes he help build ND again but being a ND coach puts a toll on u and its hard to stay positve when u are losing at ND. i think if kelly left he would do well at the next school.

They were 6-6, 7-6, and 3-9 in the 3 previous seasons before Kelly got there. And the only good seasons Weis had were because he inherited Willingham's players.

we were a 9-10 win this year especially when u start 6-0. its been a melt down.

The worst record Kelly has had is 8-5. Weis had some god awful teams.
