Ryan.divish..
How..club house.means..organanization.
Or the mariners..it could.in a certain.
Way
..but in this case i think..it meant
Ball players..those.who.went.to.
Collage.to write..should.know.
But..they don't..
And should take the blame.

But the media..still..is the bad.guy..here.
Ok.
Moving on..

J.P. Crawford said he intends to return to Driveline much sooner than last offseason, and he's bringing Ty France with him. France recently bought property in the Seattle area and will spend more extended time here.
Driveline isn’t his issue. Not ballooning up during the season is. Did he not eat at all in the offseason. I’m not sure I have ever seen a ball player actually gain weight during the dog days.

JP Crawford: “I think Cal had some great comments yesterday. I know there's a big controversy about that earlier this morning and I'm with him on that. I think we need to go out there and make really make a move to help this team win.”
It’s about damn time the players spoke up. The passionate fans had been harping this for years only to fall on deaf ears. But in the end, they continue to fill the stadiums and I think some of these players are now realizing this city and its fans deserve better.

It’s actually quite unbelievable to me to think that it couldn’t get any worse than the Lincoln and Armstrong ownership era. But Stanton is proving me wrong.

Is he going to take him to a fucking gym and nutritionist? Ty needs to get his fatass in shape.

To hell with getting him in shape.

Just tell him to clear out his locker and never comeback.

He will absolutely not contribute better numbers at year end 2024, than he just posted up 2023, if he plays all next season in a Mariners uniform.

Hell the guy is in his prime right now and you see the numbers he is putting up. You honestly think he is going to revamp his swing and hit for more contact or hit for more power ? :pound:

If so I want some of what you are smoking.

yea he has had a flash of brief success over a SMALL sampling size of: 1st month of a season, or having a good few week stretch where he gets hot ( like any and all MLB's do - that is NOTHING special )

Year end numbers... THAT is the true barometer and litmus test on a players worth and value as a contributor offensively.

Yes he does stay healthy, mainly because he is so slow and plays so conservatively that he NEVER gets hurt.

His greatest risk is getting hit by pitches ( because of his girth he is a BIG target ) and he is an arm swinger ( no power ) so he gets his hands into the strike zone earlier than most hitters = getting hit by pitches more often

So the more I dig into France's 2023 season the angrier I am. In 2021 he posted a 4.2 WAR and 2022, it was 3.0. For 2023, he was 0.7

Situational hitting when it actually matters:

In 2022:
  • w/RISP he posted a stat line of .311/5/63/.848
  • w/RISp 2 outs, .310/4/34/.893
  • w/ runners on .314/9/73/.841
In 2023:
  • w/RISP .255/3/43/.715
  • w/RISp 2 outs, .258/2/24/.749
  • w/ runners on .267/3/49/.714
He's supposed to be entering his prime and after being an AS last season, expectations of him were high. One would think that if he just come CLOSE to his 2021 and 2022 season this year, those 3-4 wins would've made a huge difference.

Haven't bothered to look at Suarez but figure his numbers were slightly down as well, but I don't think it cost the M's as many games.

Let's allow one of the most hated team in all of baseball, who won the WS last year get some rest. lol.
But to be fair, I guess they only won 1-0, so it was up to the Rangers to put up some runs. lmfao, they are as much to blame for not seizing the division.

Those kinda numbers will get a guy an extension around these parts AND an extension for the people who signed him in the front office. They just need something that looks like a baseball player and used car Jerry and the the PR department will take care of the rest.
