Chip Brown on OTL after Espin brought in Finebaum to 'discuss' Charlie Strong. Why in the hell did they ask Finebaum to comment on the Texas situation? He sits in Charlotte, NC lobbing bombs at Texas, when he knows absolutely NOTHING about Texas, or the football program at Texas. NOTHING. He is also treading on a thin line: He should just come out and say that the 'good old boys in Texas' dont want a black coach, since he's danced around that issue now for months.

If fact, he know nothing about football at all. The only thing he is 'expert' on is handling phone calls from Bama and Auburn fans yelling at each other. He's an idiot. Plain and simple. Complete moron.

Chip Brown may be somewhat nerdy, etc., but one thing he is, is an actual journalist. Not just some radio hack who sits and listens to the endless Bama/Auburn feud. Brown actually knows what goes on at Texas. He has real, live sources. He can tell you the God's honest truth about what went down those last few weeks of Mack Brown's regime.

Finebaum said Charlie Strong has 'lost the locker room''; he actually knows ZERO about what goes on in the Texas locker room. Chip Brown came on and said that CS not only has not lost the locker room, he's loved by those that have bought in. They finally have a leader. They are actually happy that the slackers, thieves and pot heads are gone.

Finebaum is the last person to get credible info about Texas from...The absolute LAST person who would know anything at all about what goes on in the Texas locker room.

Dont worry, even the SEC fans disowned Finebaum. Tennessee hates him and he graduated from there. I miss the old ESPN. Lot less talking and more games, plus Lumberjack and Strong Men contests.
