I have posted this numerous times and since Ron will be gone soon it will be the last. Ron was hired and given total control to give cover for Snyder in the hopes he could weather the storm. As a person Ron is above reproach. As a coach he is average at best and lucked out when Cam had a MVP season. I was not thrilled when he was hired, but didn’t think it would get this bad. Winning would just be icing on the cake for Snyder.

Football teams often take on the personality of their head coach and a quick look at the results over the years reflects this. I honestly believe that the season was put into jeopardy when that revolt against EB took place. When 2/3s of the team is accustomed to the Rivera way and the other third isn't happy because they are being held to a higher standard, nobody's happy or focused on the job... division/ lack of cohesiveness results in the ranks.

I think Thomas was more abstract saying something like some days were good and some were not.

Not football but I feel like the same is going on with the Capitals. New first time NHL head coach Spencer Carbury is trashing one player or another with constant line changes. I think by the end of the year guys are going to turn on him.
