Then why watch? I watch sports because I know at least my team has a chance to win a championship until they're mathematically eliminated. However, in this flawed system of human bias for one conference isn't fun to watch especially when your team was eliminated before the season began. No I don't own all those organizations and nobody does. However, I am a fan and when enough of the customers are upset with the product and it costs them money it will cause change. If you sit there with your thumb up your ass and do nothing then nothing will happen and this trash system will stay in place

I watch the game being played on the TV. The games in the meeting rooms don't interest me.

If Wisconsin (or any undefeated P5 team) doesn’t make it, then the whole thing should be scrapped.

An adjustment might be made but scrapping it all isn't going to happen.

I'd rather watch our team in the playoffs for a chance at a championship rather than watch some meaningless .com bowl game and being told the entire season was over before it started.

Wisconsin will have played as many ranked teams this season as Alabama.

Our sos is only killing us because the committee is manipulating the rankings.Bama's sos shouldn't be much if any higher than ours and their win over LSU who lost to Troy at home is their best sec win and a 2 win FSU is their best out of conference win. Sure our schedule does get more difficult but in the end the SEC committee will downgrade our opponents to make it appears as though we have beaten no one.

As for the up coming matchups. Oklahoma and Miami will go down. That still leaves TCU Bama, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Georgia all in front of us. Clemson will win out vs their weak opponents, Notre Dame will have some weak PAC teams and Georgia and Bama will meet in the conference championship undefeated which means they will both get into the cfp.

I agree that the SEC does get propped up by the rankings but that isn't why Wisconsin's schedule sucks. It's just how things worked out with many teams in the Big 10 West being down and the one non conference game they hoped would be a good one in BYU sucks this year too. That isn't because of the SEC. Also if Notre Dame beat Miami they have Navy and Stanford left so only one weak PAC12 team left.

Notre Dame will crush all their final opponents.

I never said the SEC had anything to do with the Badgers schedule. What's happening is the committee is making appear as though Clemson and Bama have vastly superior schedules by manipulating the rankings. Clemson's division is down as well. FSU just happened to be terrible this year which should hurt Bama but didn't appear to do so.

But it's Bama so they get to be in the top four and nobody questions them because they're Bama.

perhaps it's because we have 15 national championships and Wisconsin went 12-1 that one time...and finished 5th.

Quit dwelling in the past. Teams need to be evaluated on what they've done in this season alone and the rest is irrelevant.

I can understand why you would think that way, given that your team has accomplished very little in the present, but even less in the past.

Meh, all that matters is winning now. Dwelling on the past is for losers.

Exactly. And remember that Wisconsin also ducked playing Ryder Truck Driving Academy and Cyrus T. Clement's School of Animal Husbandry and Applied Fertilizer Science this season.

Please tell us why that excuses Alabama and doesn't make them subject to the same criticism leveled against other teams. Performance in past seasons should not be a pass for the current season. It's blatant bias. Shame on the pollsters.

Do you honestly believe what you just said or are you just trying to justify the fact Wisconsin hasn’t played anybody?

I’m being serious — who has Wisconsin beat this year? Florida Atlantic? Northwestern? Think about it. Wisconsin’s schedule is a joke up to this point. And the sad part is — it doesn’t get much better, though you do get to face Iowa and UM (though neither has been consistent this year)

Let me ask you this — say it comes down to 11-1 ND and 12-0 Wisconsin for the final CFP spot. Do you seriously think Wisconsin would be more deserving, when ND will have played Georgia, USC, Miami, NC State, Michigan State, Stanford, etc., while Wisconsin has played..........?

You can use the same argument for any one loss team — Wisconsin’s schedule is terrible this year and it will hurt them in the end.
