STRIKE FIRST|STRIKE HARD.
Answer so a bet can be settled with SJ76. One month avy bet.
Hey, it's cool I respect your opinions. I find it hard to believe Richt will though knowing his past.Does Michael Vick have a son or younger brother that has yet to commit to Va Tech? If not, then no. Especially if Dabo and Richt stay
On the votes - please use this poll as it reflects the bet that SJ76 is obviously afraid to take.
LOL right. Even if I lose a simple bet, I would man up. I will say apologies for taking over your Taggart thread. But your comments on 5 star players and Tech never winning the ACC "again" were just asinine. Granted there is a chance you may very well win with the 5 years caveat when in fact you said "never" but I will still own up to it either way.
Your original statement was you need 5 star athletes to win your conference man. We got there last year in the off season with very few four start recruits and other than Bama, took it to the wire with Clemson. Would be interested to see some of the Clemson fan's take on this as well.Dude.. The 1 exception you gave was Saban and even he had a few to work with. Not many, but I can't recall a single team that has won a Natty that didn't have a 5 star recruit on their team.
Bottom line = great recruiting wins championships. Doesn't mean you don't have to coach, but you have to recruit the elite. Always been like that.
And if FSU doesn't get back to the title game, it's because Clemson and Miami have locked shit down. Miami has the #2 ranked class right now. I said Va Tech may beat them at home on a chilly day up there, but they still have to run the table in the coastal division and get by FSU or Clemson. Not easy man when Clemson is rolling Miami by 40
That's what I've been saying all day.

Yes agree on all fronts that the ACC is more competitive now.Richt won the SEC, and during a time that the SEC was a harder tougher than it is now.
Clemson is your biggest risk, and FSU will surely be back soon. Miami is clearly on the up, and hell, NC State is a more pristine job than ever, I mean their coach just told UT to pound sand.
