The real question is. Would the Warriors survive the Detroit bad boys? Sure, the Warriors are a much more talented team but they were one physical team.

Look at you go. You must be pissed he can beat you in golf.

Remember when Mike dropped 63 on the Celts? Those were some good Celts teams. He paid his dues. Did the Bulls face the showtime Lakers? No

But the man also never even got to a game 7 and has two 3 peats. I'd say he dominated really good teams. Hell many of those years the Eastern conference finals were the NBA finals. Pistons swept the Lakers in 89. Bulls went 6 that year in the ECF. Pistons best the Blazers 5 games in 1990. Bulls went 7 in the ECF.

If MJ had a weak East like Lebron has had, he'd have 8 rings. Plus 2 years of baseball?

I do remember when he dropped 63 on the Celtics and lost anyways. He did not beat team in the finals that anyone would consider an all time great NBA team. Seriously, an old Fakers squad? The Trail Blazers, Suns, Supersonics and Jazz. How old were you back then 12?

I doubt he could beat me at golf and he sucked badly at baseball. I'd be happy to get him up on a pair of hockey skates, maybe dress him up like a goaler if you get my drift.

Yeah KD would manhandle the Bulls with his size. He's huge

Pippen would have no chance. One of the best defenders of all time

I'm not going to debate it. I haven't been much of a hoops fan since the Pistons started sucking. It's just my opinion based upon my memories of the 80s & 90s when I was a big fan. I don't think any of those teams could have hung with these guys... Celtics, Pistons, Lakers or Bulls and definitely not under today's conditions. .

Pippen had 8 all NBA 1st team defensive awards. 5th or 6th in steals all time?

Who's got more and how many?

Answer is Gary Payton, Jordan, Kobe and Garnett. 9

You don't even know what it's like to break 80.

Apples and Oranges. You couldn't put together any of those dominant teams of yester-year with today's cap.

Depends, 80s rules or rules of today? The Bad Boys would all get suspended Draymond style today.

Also, people shouldn't underestimate the Warriors' physicality. You can't be one of the top defensive teams by being a bunch of weaklings. These guys are in great shape. Even old man David West looks like he could lift a car.

All due respect to the Bad Boys Pistons, but they crossed the line. They weren't simply physical; they were dirty. I remember reading The Jordan Rules, wherein the author revealed that the Bulls sent in a tape to the NBA showing how the Pistons would target pressure points when fouling players on the Bulls.

:wtf:

Lebron is a far more versatile player than 'Nique. It's really not even close. Lebron, with his overall game, is a faster, more athletic Magic.

Nique was nothing like Lebron. I watched his whole career and he would not pass when doubled and triple teamed. He was not an instinctive player.

Those Bad Boy Pistons' teams were more talented than many give them credit for.
Thomas, Dumars and Rodman are HOFers who were in their primes.
Laimbeer, Vinnie Johnson, John Salley and Mark Mguire were all very good players as well.

And they traded away a Hall of Famer in Adrian Dantley, but you have to say that was a great move because they won two titles after swapping him for Aguirre.

LOL. Great insight.

The Warriors are also a pretty great defensive team, that for some reason no one likes to acknowledge. Klay is a superb defender and at 6'7" would make it at least interesting for Jordan. Jordan still gets his but not without a bit of a challenge. Then you have an almost 7'0 KD guarding Pippen. Then you have the Warriors best defensive player in Draymond guarding a non-threat in Rodman which would allow him to rove the paint. Does that play into your obliteration fantasy too?
At worst, this matchup is super close.

Draymond would probably get himself suspended for the series by halftime of the first game with Rodman talking smack and punking him.

Yet, I would make the case that the Warriors have equal, if not better talent than those teams. That is why they are so dominant now.

I agree it is very difficult to do, but the Warriors have done it. Team friendly deals for guys like Curry, West, Pachulia, McGee, and Livingston along with the 2016 cap spike have made it possible.

I don't know. Sure the Bulls have Jordan but the Warriors have the more talented lineup.

I'd have Rodman guard Durant. I'd put Pippen on Green and Jordan on Curry.
