Yeah, Magic would probably spend more time guarding Klay than Steph.

Gotta disagree on Worthy, he's a hall of famer and definitely in the best forwards convo. His post moves were ridiculous. I would still give KD the edge though.

In any case, that would be a fun series to see if it could actually happen.

Honestly, I think the difference comes down to style. Talent wise the two teams are comparable. Honestly, I think these Laker squads are the only teams that actually match the Warriors talent. Even then, Magic and Kareem were not both playing at an MVP level at the same time. Curry and KD are.

The Lakers played inside out when they weren't running and the Warriors play outside in. The Warrior style is proven to be more efficient analytically. I believe this gives them the edge in a very close series.

By the way, no chance Steph guards Magic. Klay guards Magic, Steph guards Scott.

Lebron is more like Dominique Wilkins with a stacked team at his disposal every year than he is Jordan

The physicality of those Bulls teams would completely wipe the Warriors off the floor.

Bulls in a sweep...all day, err day

Don't know about a sweep... But the Bulls had 3 of the best defenders of all time + plus the best all around player of all time + best rebounder of all time + one of the best all around SFs of all time.

Love to see Jordan man handling Curry and talking shit in his face.

Jordan on Curry with a dose or 2 of Steve Kerr
Harper on Klay
Pippen on Durant
Rodman on Draymond
Kukoc?
Longley?

Curry and Durant are not big dudes. All you have to do is bump them and stay in front, which you can do if you are stronger. I can assure you that Bulls team would be all up in the Warriors grill defensively.

Harper Jordan and Pippen could defend the 3 and then some.

I love the comparison but defense wins championships.

And of course... Who's stopping Jordan?

I definitely think it would be a close series. I still think the Lakers would take them because the advantage that Kareem would have over Zaza would be to huge.

He and Magic may not have played at MVP levels at the same time in the regular season, but Kareem won finals MVP in 1985 at age 38.

Bulls would have the opposite problem of the Cavs, imo.

Cavs have an offense to match the dubs, but they don't have the defense to hang with them.
Bulls have the defense for limiting the dubs, but they don't have the offense to keep up.

Both would have the best player on the floor and a punchers chance.

Bold sentence makes no sense. If they have the D they can limit points and don't have to keep up.

Getting a stops is what bball is all about. Which is why defense wins championships, especially GREAT defense.

:wtf:

Lebron is a far more versatile player than 'Nique. It's really not even close. Lebron, with his overall game, is a faster, more athletic Magic.

Michael Jordan wasn't dumb enough to play a run and gun offense. He controlled games. He slowed it down when he had to. He pushed the ball when he had to. The guy just knew what to do to win and took games over.

There are not many out there naming the Bulls as the greatest dynasty of all time. They are up there, sure. There are Celtics and Lakers teams that they put above them.

Now, the Bulls would put up a fight and MJ would be the best player on the court.

Well I guess if the Bulls players could shut down some of the best players of all time,

Except, they never did. Jordan built his legacy on the foundation of 4 juggernaut teams (that he couldn't beat prior) all getting old at the same time. The Bulls did beaat an old and pathetic Lakers team for their first title and then added scintillating wins against the Trail Blazers :wank:, The Suns :wank:, the Supersonics :wank: and two in a row against a two man team known as the Utah Jazz :fap:.

Captain overrated and his boys never once beat a juggernaut team (Celtics, Sixers, Pistons or even the lowly Lakers) when it mattered most until they all got old at the same time.

I don't hate Mikey. He is an all time scorer that had the good fortune of not having to face the loaded Boston, Philly, Detroit or even the faggoty ass Fakers teams for his entire career. Had that been the case he'd be fortunate to have 1 ring.

No. The Bulls would have a puncher's chance under the old rules, but I'd still say no. I haven't followed the game very closely the past few years, but these guys are the best I've ever seen... their speed and great shooting and now with Durant, it just isn't fair.

The Dubs wouldn't survive a season healthy under the old rules. KD and Curry aren't built to get beat up every game. They would break to easily. They also have two elite defenders to match up with curry and KD. Cleveland only has one.

Look at you go. You must be pissed he can beat you in golf.

Remember when Mike dropped 63 on the Celts? Those were some good Celts teams. He paid his dues. Did the Bulls face the showtime Lakers? No

But the man also never even got to a game 7 and has two 3 peats. I'd say he dominated really good teams. Hell many of those years the Eastern conference finals were the NBA finals. Pistons swept the Lakers in 89. Bulls went 6 that year in the ECF. Pistons best the Blazers 5 games in 1990. Bulls went 7 in the ECF.

If MJ had a weak East like Lebron has had, he'd have 8 rings. Plus 2 years of baseball?

Yeah KD would manhandle the Bulls with his size. He's huge

Pippen would have no chance. One of the best defenders of all time
