Those Celtics teams from that era were also more physical than they get credit for, too. Detroit had bad boys but the Celtics were brawlers, too.Those Bad Boy Pistons' teams were more talented than many give them credit for.
Thomas, Dumars and Rodman are HOFers who were in their primes.
Laimbeer, Vinnie Johnson, John Salley and Mark Mguire were all very good players as well.
The game is less about strength and more about skill now. I think all of these teams would get swept if they played outside of their era because basketball is so finicky when it comes to matchups.
