Teams win titles, not conferences. You can sack ride Bama all you want, they have been playing lights out defense ever since Saban arrived. I said Bama's D was legit, but the SEC as whole doesn't play good defense. Not on Aggy's nuts at all. Just pointing out SEC defenses have been nothing but average since the Aggies arrived and changed the entire mindset of the SEC when they brought their no huddle, spread Big 12 offense and broke every single SEC offensive record in their 1st year. Dont care about the rest of the SEC defenses, but Bama's D has been consistent in total defense since Saban got there. A defection of secondary players has created some weaker defensive efforts overall, but they still ranked highly at the end of the year.

Offensive changes have made for some tense games with high scores and big yards, but this too shall be worked out once the dust settles.

Sure the hurry up O gases defenses, but that doesnt mean that the defenses are not solid. It just means they are tired. Especially a defense that have no offense aka Florida.
