He is very important to this team so do we really need him to play against Wake? I think he should suit up but be the 3rd string running back for this game in my opinion. I like how Adams played against Pitt and think ND will be fine with Adams and Williams sharing the carries. what do you guys think?

I agree though, he should be able to sit for two weeks with Wake and BC. I'd really like to see some of our younger guys get some reps.

He's day2day, according to BK, and I think he's hinted on letting Adams get the workload against Wake, instead of a dinged up Prosise.

They're concerned more about his neck than the shoulder at this point.

I agree only play him if we need him. Adams and Williams can do the job.

Espn said he was going through concussion protocol for a whiplash injury. Hopefully that means that he will be OK by the BC game.

Per BK it's concussion related. His head snapped when he went down on his shoulder. Didn't say there was any shoulder injury. Said he was doing better today if he passes tests he's good to go. He should be used sparingly next week. Adams and Williams can carry the load.

Coo coo. On the broadcast they guessed it was the shoulder and said because of rules that ND wouldn't disclose until after the game and then afterwards BK only said he was going to be evaluated and hoped to have him next week. No injury was ever stated.

I think it's a good idea to sit him. He is hurt with a concussion. Better to see what the youngins can do than risk have CJ out for longer

when he got up off the ground he appeared to have a shoulder injury. he was holding his arm gingerly close to his body so i find it hard to believe he doesn't have at least a slight injury there. he must also have a slight concussion too but i'd bet his shoulder is not right.
