Well they didn’t know he wouldn’t fit like he did in the offseason.

If you look at it this way they got the Nets pick along with Clarkson, Nance and Hood bc Crowder went to Utah. 3 young players and possibly a top 5 pick. Not bad for a guy who demanded a trade and the Cavs had no choice but to trade him.

Really though. Not to even test Thomas/Rose out the rest of the season?? WTF. Why make trades when you can get rid of that shit coach Lue? Love returns, Cavs had a shot of the finals still with a new coach and they got their act together with effort. And they just PISS it all away

Odd move by the Cavs. I don't see how this helps them get any closer to a title. This was a completely knee jerk reaction. A bad season? They are currently 3rd in the East.

It does actually get them a little closer to a title. They still aren't winning it, but they can at least put up a fight now.

They got younger and more athletic. They added a guy in Clarkson who can score off the bench, an athletic big in Nance who is solid on both ends of the floor, not to mention Hill and Hood who are both good young players.

Yea i give them a way better shot now then before. They were going to get bounced early in the playoffs the way things were going. They have a way better shot now imo

Plus IT was going to want a max next year, so getting rid of him was smart because he isn't worth it.

Agree. No way he gets one now. He's cost himself a lot of money with what went on in Cleveland. Now that he's gone to the Lakers, the only thing he can do to help himself is be a good citizen and play well to try and get back some of the money he cost himself.

If him saying he won't come off the bench is true...he's not off to a very good start in the getting back some of the money he cost himself department. lol

He was just the wrong mentality player to go to the blasé attitude, go-through-the-motions-during-the-regular-season Cavaliers... he and Crowder both.
