I agree. I can't believe they can't find a UIF better than Kozma. He is 0 for his last 19 with 12 strikeouts and with a .105 BA. We have had two of the worst offensively in the last few years in Kozma and Alberto.

Darvish just isnt that shut down, top tier ace pitcher that it seemed he was billed to be. Maybe this helps re-sign him on a reasonable deal but I wouldn't offer him what someone else will ultimately probably overpay. I would likely move him at the deadline if you can get a load for him.

We are 3.5 games behind 3 different teams for the second wildcard and there are three teams between us and them. We are edging closer to being thought of as sellers by the front office. If we get swept by the Angels that might do it. Maybe it has been enough already to give up the idea of trading Lucroy for a reliever.

Not sure we have to worry to much about making the WC, this team doesnt pitch well enough to be in contention for anything. This team is not even a .500 ball club. Just the reality that everyone including the FO should embrace and do whatever it takes to improve vs. trying to do anything this season. Trade whoever can bring value

Could be a fun trade deadline for sure. Might be the most interesting one since 2010 where we got cliff lee. The team has quite a few guys whose contracts are up at the end of the year, we should see a lot of players on the move.
