He had some bad throws but we did get 30. I'm not sure what went on at halftime. I thought we were putting up 500 yrds today. Zeke looked quick again and was running hard. Gurley was awesome. Goff looked pretty damn good to me too. Not sure about all that bust talk on him

Cowboys scored 30 points, Dak threw for 3 TD's and you miss Romo lol. I love Romo as well, but I'll tell you right now, if he were out there today, he'd have been sacked about 12 times and probably killed on the field. If you want to assess blame, IMO you should start with this teams piss poor tackling. Pathetic. 2nd, Wade Phillips called a better 2nd half for his defense than Rod did. The Rams brought pressure on every big play, meanwhile, the Cowboys sat back in soft zones and still managed to leave WR's open all over the field. Without Sean Lee, this team is helpless against the run, and we got ZERO pressure on Goff today. Dak would be way down the list for blame with me today

Bottom line- it's like I said last week- this is a crazy ass league this yr. 4 weeks in and I guess about the only thing we know is the Browns are not good.

What's odd is he is showing versatility. With Skins, he had some really good WRs and a great TE. I barely heard Watkins name today. They relied on Gurley both running and receiving. They are so young too. Interesting team.

The refs were terrible in this game too. They aren't the reason the Cowboys loss, but I just want to point out that Jourdan Lewis was completely defenseless on Gurley's TD reception and there was no call and that 2 point conversion call on Frederick was a fucking joke. And Woods and Butler TDs were so obvious. How did the refs miss these calls?

I can't even begin to stress how disappointed I was in the run defense. Like I know Lee didn't play, but we knew what the Rams were gonna do. Didn't see enough 8 and 9 man fronts. Played too scared. Should have made Goff beat us, but we decided to let them establish a run game. Even on plays where it was 100% obvious Tavon Austin or Gurley would get the ball, they still couldn't stop it. Having no Lee is no excuse for that. Instincts have to kick in at some point for Jaylon Smith. Coming off serious injury is not an excuse to not show any kind of football instincts.

No excuse for the loss, but this game scared me simply because it was the damn Rams. I've been a Cowboy fan for 40 yrs and I learned early that the Rams seem to make things difficult for the Cowboys.
