Kiper's just released 3 round mock has Barnett sliding to us at 28. Hard to believe but he's on dline guy I'd take at 28 over a DB

I'm as anti drug use as they come, but I think its BS the league counts positive tests a player takes before being drafted is BS.

Don't forget about Demarcus Lawrence. He had drug concerns coming out of college, and look what happened. Not to mention the back injury concerns he had coming into the league. Dallas got burned on both fronts only 3 seasons in.

I exhaled after 2016. Recent pictures of Lawrence don't bode well for a breakout 2017 season. Looking like he has put on a lot of weight after his back surgery.

Dallas needs a DE capable of starting from this draft.

Yes it was a very good draft by any measure. But it seems to look so freaking good to us because we have missed son so many in the past.

As long as they are continuing to test for pot and these guys cant seem to quit smoking it long enough to pass drug tests, prior to a draft that has a huge impact on their lives, there will continue to be cases like Randy Gregory.

IMO this is something that is a clear red flag, and means the guy had to have partaken in some sort of banned substance in the past month, which to me is reckless as hell and insane w the amount of money on the line for them.

All that said, I would possibly take a chance in the 7th, but someone else will likely chance it before that

The key is that No two guys are alike. We can't judge players based on other players. I hate when people say things like, well last time we drafted a guy from "xx" or a "xx" in round 1. You need to look at the past, but focus on the present. Randy Gregory has very serious issues and big question marks above and beyond smoking pot. His red flags were more being manic depressive. Combine that with other issues and you could have big long term problems. I'm not taking the Bama backer in round one personally, but I probably wouldn't have any way. Not sure you could pass him up based on a pot test in round two though unless you weren't of the thinking that he is a top 15 pick in the first place. Now do the other issues the kid has had make you want to pass on him? Maybe, because those are more concerning to me. But it All comes down to what they think of the kid.

Really? I didn't see that. Did you hear he is out of shape? Or just a pic that could be misleading?
