Calmer Than You Are
James Taylor is fucking good. And can play a guitar
Wasn't ever really a fan, Joan Jett and Pat Benatar would be in the group of pure rocker chicks imo.

Yeah they were both good. Benatar had a great voice. Ann Wilson is in there too. I liked my rock a bit less polished. I was into punk or pre-punk or whatever you want to call it in the early-mid 70s and Patti Smith was one of the first. The NY Dolls were another early punk influence that I really liked ... trying to keep it on topic here. They didn't sell either. I was Youtube-ing her music after I posted that and came across several videos from her last show I attended in 2013. It was great quality. The guy who recorded them must have been standing right next to me. There's no seating at the place. Just a big room and a stage. I was standing about 5' from the stage. My wife managed to find a place to sit down towards the back. She's a big fan too. Patti put on a fantastic show and can still really rock at 67.
Ann Wilson was great and then she got fat.
Mama Cass was great when she was fat, then died after she got skinny
I would argue that Bob Marley had a big influence on a lot of the ska/reggae/funk/rock/rap music that came about it he 90s and early 2000s
BTW I fucking live Bob Marley and play it to my daughter any chance I can get
Of all the great tunes Bob Marley wrote....why in the world would you post one that was written by Johnny Nash?? Don't get me wrong..it's a great tune....but am I missing something???
My favorite MTB album, the live version of Can't You See at the end just tears it up.
Seriously, how good is this band!?
One of only two bands that I walked out of their concert....the other was Cheap Trick
