Always good to have a back-up plan and when it is a good back-up plan it is even better.Yeah, well, CFB might very well be buried by then, the direction all this world "butthurt" is heading...
My Backup Plan:
Sounds like the Dallas Cowgirls...except 2+ decades. It's Texas then everyone else.. They can be dog shit for a decade but the brand is still shiny.
That post contains an astonishing lack of originality, creativity and/or entertainment value.
And if you were actually trying to troll... please. Just stop.

Is it 2027 yet? I cannot wait to go back to the Horseshoe!
I was looking forward to going back to Cincinnati for Oktoberfest and some kind of combo with the Reds / FC Cincinnati / Bearcats, but not to be this year!I was planning to take a trip back home in September/October. Go to The Shoe & go to a Browns game. Obviously that's not happening now. Hopefully next year.
Meant to say travel North. How many true road games against marquee schools will that make it for Saban if he's around for the Texas game? 2?We literally play at Texas in 2022 and have already played at Penn State. Saban will be around until he is 75 which is 7 more seasons
Bama has played an OK OOC. Not to the level of their team IMO. Few true road games. This isn't an SEC ripping comment by me, as your team has been one of the best when it comes to scheduling tough OOC.Bama has played a good OOC, mostly with the neutral site kickoff games. That was a smart move by Saban. They also have typically played in the most difficult division. They certainly have a very good OOC in the future.
Again, all the good teams are doing this ... when you are playing 2 and 3 really good OOC on top of an SEC schedule and an SECCG, you have to know that there will be at large spots available or it doesn't make sense.
The point about the lack of road games is solid (@ Duke in 2010 and @ Penn State in 2011) being the only two. However, they have played solid programs: Florida State x 2, Virginia, Tech x 2 , USC, West Virginia. Some of those show up on Ohio State's premier OOC opponent list too.Bama has played an OK OOC. Oh wow, didn't know they have ND in 2028. Bama starts that season at ND and then home against OSU the first two weeks. Sheesh. The point about the lack of road games is solid (@ Duke in 2010 and @ Penn State in 2011) being the only two. As it is, IMO, there are really only two non-SEC P5 schools on Alabama's level every year (Ohio State and Clemson), and those two don't schedule each other either. Not going to count Oklahoma until they win a Playoff Game.
FWIW, Saban is 4-0 vs. B1G teams in the Regular Season with double digit wins over Penn State @ BDS in 2010, @ Penn State in 2011, Michigan @ Arlington in 2012 and Wisconsin @ Arlington in 2015.
Cannot wait for the 2024-2025 Alabama vs. Wisconsin, 2027-8 Alabama vs. Ohio State and 2028-9 Alabama vs. Notre Dame series! Those should be be epic.
