After week 1 thoughts

1. T-Martz is impressive...however I want to see him throw a few more times.
2. Defense was a little inconsistent and I would like to see an improvement on our run defense.
3. L-David.....Wow he stepped up. However Whaley or w/e was non-existent.
4. After seeing Texas/OU/Mizzou play.....I think we are the team to beat in the conference so far. It could change though.
5. Crick was pretty much non-existent except for 1-2 plays...other than that its only one game so no need to hold him to high expectations.
6. Burkheads the best runningback we have...why bother with this 3 RB rotation crap? Burkheads head and shoulders better than Helu and Tray.

The D-line needs work.
They did not penetrate and got shoved around. The WKU QB had too much time to find rcvrs.
The linebackers were tasked to make too many tackles on running plays where the ball carrier had already gotten 2-3yds past the D-Line...

I'm disappointed in the front four.

I dont think we should worry too much...As you said, first game of the year and im sure Bo will have a tough week set out for these guys after this inconsistent performance...We let WKU do too much.
