We need to win this game. The players need to feel good. 3 L's in a row can lose their confidence. Rams dont look good. Their D will keep us in check but if we can improve a little from last week and the D does their part we will be fine.

Whether or not I watch this game either tomorrow or later will depend on the result later on tonight. At this point, it's only a matter of staying healthy and showing signs of improvement from the future players that will make the core of this team AFAIC.

I think we'll see a good effort but another loss. Our offense simply cannot get downfield or get in the End Zone.

I think they have a start in that direction with their D Line and LBs

Not a good start with the pick, but that 14-play drive the 49ers went on was not bad.

Too bad that fumble killed a pretty nice drive. That number 11 is a fumble fingers. Not sure why he is on the team.

That half-empty stadium is an embarrassment for a nationally televised game.

Interesting that its the opposite of last week. This week its the defense that looks like shit and the offense is pretty good.

Yes. The defense is an embarassment tonight. Plus Seattles offense is pretty bad

Niners putting up a very good fight here though. They have a chance to win.

Bad call at a really bad time on the offensive pass interference. Its interesting how bad teams get a lot of bad calls.

Kyle is a better man than me. I would have been in that officials face giving him the MLB manager treatment until they escorted me out after that B.S. call. That call is why penalties should be reviewable, at least in the final minutes.

Smart play by Shanahan...the rookie HC. He starts blowing up at refs so early in his tenure and his rep around the league to the zebras takes a hit. Of course, he can't let them walk all over him either, so it's a fine line. From the one angle they have as of now, it looked like a weak call, but....whatever.

I saw most of the second half....defensive line got zero rush on Goff. Defense in general was bad, or maybe the Ram QB deserves some credit. There were people who were eager to write Goff off, but perhaps all it took was a creative offensive mind to put him in position to succeed. Time will tell. As for Hoyer, he seemed to shrug off what I saw later on was a laughably bad interception. The skilled players did OK, except for the numerous dropped passes. As with the D-line, the O-line was sub-par (not on the same level but still).

Lots of guys dinged up. On to (looks up who is next on the sched)........the Cardinals.

I think Goff does deserve credit for making some really nice throws and good decisions with the football. He also did well by sensing pressure (what little there was) and getting rid of the ball, something Hoyer has an issue with. But the 49ers defense made it easy for him. The pass rush was almost non-existent. He had a clean pocket most of the night. I think there were only a couple of QB pressures. As someone mentioned to me, playing Thursday night after playing so much last Sunday, the defense probably was a bit gassed. Good defenses can rebound better than where our team is right now. Plenty of time to get ready for Arizona next week and Rueben Foster might be back. If Arizona rolls us on offense, then week 2 was mirage for the defense. Seattle's offense is pretty bad right now.

It was weird. First quarter we were getting pressure and after that nothing. Either good adjustments by the Rams or our guys just quit trying as hard.

And it's funny how things are seen differently between sports. MLB manager let's an ump hear it and get kicked out and he's a good manager taking one for the team. NFL coach does it and he likely wouldn't receive positive praise for it.
