Dallas has to sign someone at RB, right? ...right?

Yes I did! But still.

He isnt going to go somewhere and get 100 targets. There WAY too many good WR's in the league already and way too many on the way for him to play a #2 role in an offense unless something went terribly wrong with the team he is going to.

Didn't say he would, just should get more work elsewhere than he did with the Raiders last year. He's been freed.

There are some rumors if Dillon does not sign elsewhere... maybe down the road Packers try and bring him back on team friendly deal, he does love Green Bay.

Dillon had opportunities to showcase himself last year with A. Jones injury... did not really show much. Packers offense and running game was night and day with A. Jones in the lineup.

He is a decent back for change of pace, blocking in backfield on passing downs, decent ability catching the ball and high character guy.... I do not see him as good primary back. Would only want him back on team friendly deal.

Deuce Vaughn isn't a work horse back for you, lol?

The assumption is that they will draft Jonathan Brooks, since his surgery was handled by the Cowboys' doctor. They do need a vet bridge/back up though as you indicated. Dillon or Kareem Hunt would make a lot of sense.

Its an interesting thought but the Chargers roster probably isnt in a great spot for a rookie QB. Chargers would likely take Caleb Williams at #1. The idea of JJ McCarthy or Justin Fields being involved sounds absurd.

I have to doubt this is true... my understanding is Harbaugh liked the Chargers opening because they had "proven NFL" QB.
Yeah this is what I figured but he also seems like kind of a control freak like Payton and he wants "his guy" and do it his way. Herbert is pretty damn talented so I am sure he is happy

Yeah trading Herbert for the #1 pick and assets is one thing but including Fields doesn't make sense.

It's an interesting thought, especially if they start trading/dumping Bosa, Mack, Allen and/or Williams. Do they go for a complete re-set?

Harbaugh might be that guy that takes Harrison #1 and then JJ at 5 or 9 (if included in this theoretical trade).

Shane wants it to happen because it involves his OSU guy.

LOL.

Chargers appear to be blowing it up otherwise, the rookie QB re-set would help the cap for such a rebuild. I don't think it's likely, but it's intriguing.
